CICC Met Nantong Haian Economic & Technological Development Zone

On August 5th, 2025, the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) met a delegation from the Nantong Haian Economic and Technological Development Zone in Shanghai.

The meeting was attended by CICC Chairman Lorenzo Riccardi, Director of the Investment Promotion Bureau of Haian Economic and Technological Development Zone, Mr. Mao Shihong, Deputy Director of Investment Promotion Bureau and European Business Representative Mr. Zong Xubo, and Deputy Director of Investment Promotion Bureau and Chief Representative Office of Haian City, Jiangsu Province in ltaly, Mr. Leonardo Yang. 

The meeting began with a brief introduction of Haian City’s development, emphasizing its economic value and modern achievements. 

Following this, Lorenzo Riccardi, highlighted the Chamber’s role and mission in China. The mission of CICC is to support the businesses of its members, facilitate meetings with government bodies, and promote collaboration. In particularly in light of 2025 marks important milestones such as 55 years of bilateral relations between Italy and China, and 50 years of EU-China relations.

CICC Chairman shared the insights from latest business survey and economic trends of the Italian companies in the Chinese market and promoted more cooperation with local authorities.
